Everyday we get up at dawn – 4.30 am and go to the fresh flower
markets. We select and bid fiercely for the finest, freshest and most
exciting variety of flowers. We rush the flowers back in cooled transport
to the shop where our award-winning florists create stunning bouquets
and arrangements from them.
The shop flower containers are cleaned thoroughly everyday and the water
changed to prolong the life of the flowers. Weekly the refrigerators are
cleaned with bleach to ensure they are clinically clean and free of all
bacteria
At the end of each day any remaining flowers are carefully checked for
freshness. Flowers that don’t meet BeLoved’s freshness standard
are removed and prepared for drying and used later in our dried flower
arrangements.
